Lilah Bryn Dempsey was born Thursday, August 12th just before nine o'clock at night. She gave her mother quite a fight and took her time coming into this world. We spent some time with Lilah and her new parents at the hospital a couple days ago, so I thought I'd share some pictures from our visit. Here is one of the cutest little girls, ever! Enjoy!

A turn for Uncle Paul. He told me he wasn't going to hold her until she was older. He was afraid he wouldn't hold her the right way. Needless to say, I didn't listen to him and he learned holding a baby isn't so bad. :)

oh wow, lex. i look back at these photos and think (with emotions swirling in my mind) how LITTLE we knew of this baby girl back then!!! of course the bond was instant, but wow, we know her so much more now than ever before- her sounds, looks, likes, dislikes, patterns, and so on. poor little thing was so tired from that rough process called birth, and her face was pretty puffy during those first 48 hours. i wish you were here to hold her and read with her. i'll have to see if i can find a way to post some videos from my camera on fb so you can see and hear her in action.
ReplyDeleteAwww...amazing what a few weeks can do as far as learning so much about little miss lilah. Glad you are doing so well with learning her personality...what a journey! We need to figure out our webcams sometime so we can chat! You guys have one, right?
